Since 1955, the family of F.E. Dabney Funeral Home has cared for the families in Ashland and surrounding areas with compassion and respect. Beginning with H.W. Dabney, then on to his son, Floyd E. Dabney, Sr. (Honey), the family tradition of assisting families during their critical time of loss, while honoring the memory and dignity of each person’s life, has become a family tradition.
With the passing of Floyd E. Dabney, Sr. in 2006, his loving wife, Henrietta (Wiley) Dabney and their son, Floyd E. Dabney, Jr. have continued to ensure the highest level of personal service and attention in the community. Meeting with every family in their care, the Dabneys focus on the community, one family at a time.
As Funeral Directors, the roles of Henrietta and Floyd, Jr. extend to assisting the families after death, and ensuring that their loved one’s memories and accomplishments are recognized within the family and the community. Working with the family during the period of adjustment to the passing of the individual, both Dabneys remain focused on the lives of the loved ones left
behind and are there whenever assistance is needed.
